Reduced fees for 2015

We have made two changes to the fees for 2015 which we hope will broaden our community and make us (even) more inclusive. We have made the annual membership fee a nominal £1 to allow our volunteers and supporters, who make such a big contribution to Tideway, to be members on an equal basis with our sailing members. The cost of sailing has also been reduced from £20 to £10 per session (adults) and £5 (young person) for those who do not want to pay an annual fee- regular sailors may want to pay either a £60 annual fee plus £5/session, or a simple £110 annual fee (£55 for young). These fee levels are consistent with our commitment to keeping Tideway as widely accessible to the community as we are able, but will not cover our operating costs for the year. Although we are entirely volunteer run we have unavoidable costs such as rent, insurance and materials for repairs, so we do need to do some fundraising. Please consider making a regular or one-off donation to help us keep our charges as affordable as possible.
