Tideway Summer Regatta

The Tideway Sailability Regatta was held on 7th June in warm and light northerly conditions. A large fleet took to the water including both Hawks, Access Libertys, 303s, Martin16 and an Omega. The event held 2 races with an interesting course being set by the Race Officer. There was tight racing around the buoys and some good tactical upwind sailing.

On a combination of times and handicaps Andy Hussey sailing solo in the Martin 16 was declared the overall winner. To conclude the day we shared in a Bar BQ expertly prepared by Malcolm Kaye and his wife.
